Little Pips Nursery is an all year setting. We accept Early Years Entitlement Funding at Little Pips Nursery including 2 year, 3 and 4 year (up to 570 hours a year from September working out to 10.95 hours a week over 52 weeks), and Working Parent Funding (up to 1140 hours a year from September working out to 21.92 hours a week over 52 weeks). To find out if you are eligible for any of these funding types please visit Best Start in Life.
If eligible, parents will be provided with a code which needs to be shared with the nursery so that the funding can be claimed.
Funded hours are completely free and can be used for any of our 9-10 hour sessions. We are an all year nursery (no term time only) which supports our working families with all year care.
Whilst the government funding is designed to provide statutory provision, as a private setting Little Pips Nursery offers a fully Enhanced Provision including, but not limited to, a range of additional activities throughout the year including our renowned ‘Graduate sessions’, freshly cooked daily meals prepared on site by our fully trained cook, additional resources and equipment as well as a host of other measures to ensure high quality, consistent provision (further details can be found in our Fees and Sessions sheet available from the office).
This provision is separate to the Early Years entitlement funding (statutory), so to ensure access to our Enhanced Provision an Additional Service Charge (ASC) is applied.
Please speak to the office for further details of our sessions and fees.
Is there any financial support in addition to the government funding?
Yes, parents may be eligible for Tax Free Childcare.
Some parents might also be eligible for up to 85% of their childcare fees being paid by the government.
